Grammar and vocabulary assignments
Grammar and vocabulary assignments will be available on the web page of the Contest Course on March 19, 2025 from 17:30 till 19:00 Moscow time. You can start working on the tasks any time within this time frame.
Creative assignment
Our creative assignment for the 2nd day of the Contest is to make a short video.
Let's imagine time travel was possible and you found yourself stranded in the distant past; to come back you need to explain to the people around you a modern scientific concept (that originated after 1900) using everyday objects available at that time.
Reqirements
- opening shot — University logo (3 sec)
- duration: 2.5 — 3 min
- closing credits — 10 sec
- every team member should be represented equally
- video format: mp4
- resolution: 1920×1080 HD 16:9
- submission deadline: 23:59 (Moscow time), March 16, 2025

In order to register for the Context, you need to visit the following webpage: https://lms.bmstu.ru/. There you should select the desired option as shown below:
Next, fill
in the required fields:
After
confirming your registration and logging on, you will be redirected to the
homepage: https://lms.bmstu.ru/my/. In order to submit your application to participate in the Contest, you
should navigate to its respective course https://lms.bmstu.ru/enrol/index.php?id=79 and click the Enrol me button:
At the
moment, the course lists the requirements for the video competition, displays
the grading criteria and provides a chance to test your mettle against the
tasks taken from the previous Contests.
